To develop our consulting offer and support one of our clients, we are looking for a talented

Hardware Design Engineer.

Missions

A design update of the layout of the PCB in the Vehicle Controller (integration of BVA, Audio, Power Delivery, HUB)

Support to update the BOM in SAP to integrate the components

Ensure PCB dimensions in coherency with the casing of Mechanical Design

Support to update the MCR BOM to ensure the Bluetooth module is implemented

Test with the evaluation kit ordered

Support to the de-risking test phase

HW redesign of the DTU-UHF (Data Transfer Unit) including the interface with the update PCB from 3rd party supplier

Integration of GPS antenna on the PCB

Support of the mechanical engineer for the PCB integration

Support to the de-risking test phase

Profile

Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field

Proficiency in Altium Designer (ECAD tool)

Experience with communication interfaces such as SPI, CAN, USB, and RS232

Strong knowledge of USB-C Dual Role Port (DRP) and Power Delivery (PD) is highly desirable

Understanding of EMC/EMI design principles

Experience with digital electronics, especially 32-bit microcontrollers (EFM32 and Nordic preferred)

Knowledge of antenna design and RF concepts (types, matching, modulation, network considerations, etc.)

Familiarity with simulation tools such as LTspice (general SPICE knowledge acceptable)

Experience with wireless technologies (LoRa, BLE, general 2.4 GHz systems)

Hands-on experience with lab test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer)

Experience using SAP is a plus

Basic understanding of firmware development to support HW–FW interface collaboration
