Roche's Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development (pRED) organization is seeking a Senior Clinical Lead for Early Clinical Development Oncology (ECDO) located in Basel. Opportunity

You will lead a team of highly qualified clinical scientists and medical writers, reporting to the Head of Oncology Early Clinical Development. You will mentor and enable your team to support the planning, implementation, and execution of clinical development plans for pRED Oncology programs. Lead and develop a high‑performing team of Clinical Scientists and Medical Writers, fostering a culture of ownership and coaching.Strategically oversee clinical and regulatory excellence across the Oncology Early Development portfolio, ensuring high‑quality documentation (Protocols, IBs, CSRs) and optimal resource allocation. Drive innovative trial design and data interpretation in close partnership with Medical and Biomarker leadership to optimize clinical development plans and dose selection.Influence global strategy and external networks as a core member of the Leadership Team, while maintaining a patient‑centric approach. Proactively identify and implement new/best practices and work cross‑functionally within Roche with other clinical, statistics, data management, data&analytics, medical writing, clinical operations and other stakeholders. Chair or co‑chair the Protocol Review Forum; member of the Development Board; core member of the Early Clinical Development Leadership Team. Who you are
