Clinical Trial Supply Manager, Basel

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Manager to join a global project management team within the clinical supply chain. In this role, you will develop and implement optimal clinical trial supply strategies, ensuring continuity of supply to patients while managing risks effectively. This position offers an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio, including traditional clinical trials and innovative studies in areas such as Radio Ligand and Cell and Gene Therapy.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport. Responsibilities

Lead study supply planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of clinical finished goods to patients. Develop and manage end-to-end clinical supply plans for complex studies across a diverse portfolio. Provide input into clinical study protocols and design optimal supply strategies, including packaging and distribution plans.Design patient-centric packaging solutions tailored to different phases of clinical trials. Manage IRT, packaging, and distribution vendors throughout the study lifecycle, including closure activities. Utilize GMP planning systems such as SAP and Rapid Response for cross-functional resource and supply planning.Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for Global Clinical Supply at the trial level, representing the team within the Clinical Trial Team (CTT). Key Skills and Requirements

Advanced degree in life sciences (Master's or Doctorate) or an MBA with a bachelor's degree in life sciences, or equivalent experience. Practical working history in clinical supplies within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong attention to detail and operational excellence. Proficiency in project management, organization, and planning.Expertise in supply chain systems for forecasting and demand planning, with a minimum of 3 years of SAP experience. Familiarity with GMP processes and requirements is desirable. Data and digital proficiency with a high capacity for learning new tools and systems.
