Overview We are seeking a proactive professional to contribute to a modern and highly available IT environment at Swissgrid. Your role will support the secure use and continuous development of our Azure cloud platform.

Responsibilities

Engineer and implement security requirements in our cloud environment, following best practices.

Identify and assess cyber‑security risks for our cloud platform.

Define and implement preventive measures to mitigate cyber‑security risks.

Support cloud projects and operational initiatives by determining protection requirements and designing security solutions.

Create and continuously maintain cloud security concepts and standards.

Document solutions and transfer knowledge.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Cyber Security or Computer Science, with further training and/or certifications in Cyber Security and Microsoft Azure Platform technologies.

Several years of experience in cyber security roles with a focus on cloud security.

Experience in offensive security (security auditing, penetration testing, CTFs, etc.).

Knowledge of hyperscaler technologies, particularly Azure, and related SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and security services.

Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Git, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitHub Actions).

Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and/or Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a definite plus.

Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 270xx, NIST).

Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
